# Fluxer on iOS and Android

The open source Fluxer apps for iOS and Android work with self-hosted instances. Android is in beta on Google Play, and the iOS app is due in early November.

## The mobile apps

The iOS and Android apps are open source and built with Flutter.

The apps work with fluxer.com and with [self-hosted instances](https://fluxer.com/blog/self-hosting-and-the-operator-pass.md). On Android you can [download them](https://fluxer.com/download) today through the [Google Play beta](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fluxer). We're making the apps more stable so we can release the Android app on Google Play as soon as possible.

The iOS beta on TestFlight [is on hold for now](https://fluxer.com/help/ios-testflight.md) following a technical issue at Apple, and we expect the iOS app on the [App Store](https://fluxer.com/help/fluxer-app-store.md) in early November 2026. If an earlier Android beta felt rough, please try the latest one from Google Play.

## Thank you

Thank you to @M0N7Y5 and @Elias for all the work they've put into building the iOS and Android apps with us, to our early supporters and beta testers, and to everyone in the community who has used Fluxer, reported bugs and shared ideas with us this year.

Thank you for flying Fluxer.
