# What is the file upload limit on Fluxer?

On fluxer.com, each file can be up to 25 MB on a free account and up to 500 MB with Plutonium, with up to 10 files in one message.

On fluxer.com, each file you upload can be up to 25 MB on a free account and up to 500 MB with a [Plutonium](https://fluxer.com/plutonium) subscription. You can attach up to 10 files to one message.

## What is the file upload limit on Fluxer?

On fluxer.com, each file you send from a free account can be up to 25 MB, whether you send it in a community or in a DM. On a [self-hosted instance](https://fluxer.com/help/self-hosting-fluxer.md), the admins set their own limits.

## Does Plutonium raise the upload limit?

Yes. With [Plutonium](https://fluxer.com/help/plutonium.md), each file can be up to 500 MB. Files above 500 MB aren't accepted on fluxer.com, with or without Plutonium, so split a bigger file or share a link to it.

## Do large files expire sooner?

Yes. On fluxer.com, [smaller files keep their links longer](https://fluxer.com/help/attachment-expiry.md) than large ones, and the largest files expire soonest, so that [our storage costs don't grow without limit](https://fluxer.com/help/why-do-attachments-expire.md).
