# How many people use Fluxer?

fluxer.com passed 500,000 accounts in October 2026, after more than 100,000 accounts were created in 16 days in February.

fluxer.com had more than 500,000 accounts on October 19, 2026, counting only accounts that still exist. That number leaves out deleted accounts, bot and system accounts and every account on a self-hosted instance, since Fluxer doesn't run those.

## How many people use Fluxer?

More than 500,000 accounts had been created on fluxer.com and still existed on October 19, 2026. People who use a self-hosted instance have their accounts on that instance, and we don't count them because [Fluxer doesn't have their accounts](https://fluxer.com/help/self-hosted-instance-privacy.md).

## How fast did Fluxer grow?

fluxer.com [opened to everyone in January 2026](https://fluxer.com/help/story-of-fluxer.md) and had only a few hundred accounts at first. More than 100,000 accounts were created in the 16 days from February 9, 2026, while fluxer.com still ran on a single server, which [hurt stability for a while](https://fluxer.com/help/stability.md). A second wave of sign-ups came on March 25, 2026, and more have joined since then.

## How many people are online on Fluxer?

We don't publish how many people are online on fluxer.com or how many use it each day. Counters on other websites aren't run by Fluxer, and we can't check their numbers.
