# Can I import my Discord message history into Fluxer?

Fluxer has no official way to copy messages or members from Discord. Copying a server's messages in bulk goes against Discord's terms, and your members never agreed to it.

No. Fluxer has no official way to import messages or members from Discord, and a Discord server template doesn't include them. Your new Fluxer community starts with an empty history, and your members join it themselves through an invite.

## Can I import my Discord message history into Fluxer?

Fluxer doesn't offer any way to do that. A [server template](https://fluxer.com/help/import-discord-server-template.md) brings over channels, roles and permissions, but nothing that your members wrote in its channels.

Copying a server's messages in bulk goes against [Discord's Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms), which don't allow scraping Discord without its written consent. Your members never agreed to it either, since their messages, names and pictures would be posted again on another app.

## Can I bring my Discord members over?

Not automatically, because each person joins your Fluxer community with their own Fluxer account through an invite you share. A few things [make it easier for people to switch](https://fluxer.com/help/move-from-discord.md), and a [bridge](https://fluxer.com/help/discord-bridges.md) lets members who haven't moved keep talking with those who have.
