# Is Fluxer reliable? Outages, status and the February rush

fluxer.com has been stable for months, short disruptions still happen sometimes, and its early outages came from a sudden rush of new users in February 2026.

fluxer.com has been stable for months, but short disruptions still happen sometimes during denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on our network or problems with our hosting. Most outages people remember happened in February 2026, when more than 100,000 accounts were created in 16 days and fluxer.com still ran on a single server.

## Is Fluxer unreliable?

No. fluxer.com has been stable for months, but short disruptions still happen sometimes during denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on our network or problems with our hosting.

We care a lot about uptime, and we're working toward excellent uptime in 2027. We're [moving fluxer.com to our own hardware in Sweden](https://fluxer.com/help/servers-in-sweden.md), where we'll fully control our own network with our own network number and IP addresses. We aim to remove most of the remaining disruptions that way, and we haven't set a date for the move yet.

## Why did Fluxer go down so often early on?

On February 9, 2026, another chat app announced age verification, and more than 100,000 accounts were created in the 16 days after that, while fluxer.com ran on a single server. [Our article on February 2026](https://fluxer.com/help/why-was-fluxer-unstable.md) explains why Fluxer was unstable and what we changed.

## Is Fluxer down right now?

You can check our status page at [fluxerstatus.com](https://fluxerstatus.com) at any time, and it's also linked at the bottom of every page on this site. When the app won't connect while the status page says everything is fine, [the problem is most likely between your device and fluxer.com](https://fluxer.com/help/is-fluxer-down.md).

## Does Fluxer have an uptime guarantee?

We work to keep outages and interruptions rare, but Fluxer has no service-level agreement, and [section 2.1 of our terms](https://fluxer.com/terms.md) says that they can still happen sometimes.
