# How can I help translate Fluxer?

Suggest translations for the languages Fluxer already has on Fluxer's Weblate, and ask for a new language on Fluxer Feedback first.

## How can I help translate Fluxer?

Sign in to [Fluxer's Weblate](https://weblate.fluxer.tools), pick your language and suggest translations for strings that are missing or could be better. The web and desktop app and the iOS and Android apps are separate projects on Weblate, so please check both of them for your language. Many strings come with a note from us that says where they show up in the app.

## My language isn't in Fluxer. Can it be added?

Please suggest it on [Fluxer Feedback](https://feedback.fluxer.com) first, where other people who speak it can vote for it. Say in your post if you'd like to help translate Fluxer into it yourself.

## Do I need a GitHub account to translate?

For now, yes. You sign up for Fluxer's Weblate with a GitHub account, and we're looking into letting you sign in with your Fluxer account. Your name and username on Weblate are public, as Weblate tells you on the page where you sign up.

## How do translations get into the app?

Translations from Weblate go into Fluxer's open source code and come out with app updates, so a change can take a while to show up in the app on your devices.
