Your name on the Operators' wall
You get a spot on the wall when you pay, if you'd like one. We check your name and avatar before they show, usually within 72 hours, and you can leave the wall or come back anytime.
See the Operators' wallThe Operator Pass helps pay for Fluxer, which has no outside investors. You get your name on the Operators' wall and the Operator badge. You keep both of them for life, which means for as long as we run the official Fluxer service and website. You can buy a pass for yourself, or buy passes for your business.

We'll send you a link to confirm your email, and after that only one email, on the day sales open. It has a link to unsubscribe at any time. Operator Pass privacy notice

Your badge shows when you got your pass, like "Operator Pass since November 2026". It's up to you whether it shows, and you can hide it or just its date anytime in your settings.
The bonus isn't part of the price and can change or end. Operator Pass terms
The Operator role opens #operators to talk about self-hosting, bots and the API. Hampus, who created Fluxer, joins in when he can.
When we have a new Fluxer feature ready for testing, we may invite you to try it before it's released and to tell us what you think of it. Features that haven't been released yet can still have bugs.
If you turn it on in your settings, your wall name goes on every yearly list we publish while you're on the wall and the setting is on. Each list appears in the release notes and in the source code.
We're building a free list of Fluxer instances on our site, and you never need a pass to be on it. If you have a pass and your instance is listed, it will get an Operator mark next to its name on the list.1Note about listed instances

Fluxer is built by a very small team, and running it costs money every month for servers, storage, bandwidth and our time. Plutonium, donations and the Operator Pass are what pay for it.
We have no outside investors, and I won't take venture capital. Investors expect a return, and for chat apps that usually means showing ads or selling data. We don't run ads, and we don't sell your data.
The Operator Pass is a one-time purchase that helps pay for Fluxer. Self-hosting, the docs and community help stay free for everyone.

Run Fluxer on your own server.
Build bots and integrations on the API.
Operators help pay for Fluxer with the Operator Pass.

If you want to use Fluxer for work, I'd love to hear what it needs before it can replace what you use today. Email me at hampus@fluxer.com, and I'll reply when I can.
It's for anyone who wants to help pay for Fluxer, whether you self-host, build bots or just use the app. Community help in Fluxer Developers stays free and open to everyone, whether or not they have a pass.
Money from Operator Passes, Plutonium subscriptions and donations pays for the servers, storage and bandwidth behind the official Fluxer service, which is free to use, and the small team that builds and runs it. It also pays for building the open source Fluxer app, which anyone can self-host for free.
We have no venture capital or outside investors, and we don't run ads or sell your data.
No. Self-hosting, the docs and the operator guide are free and the same for everyone.
No. Community help in Fluxer Developers is the same for everyone, and a pass doesn't put your questions there ahead of anyone else's. As a bonus, Operators get the #operators channel to talk about self-hosting, bots and the API, and we may invite them to try new features before they're released. The bonus can change or end. The pass isn't a support contract, and buying more passes only changes your spot on the wall and your badge.
You pick any display name or nickname at checkout, and your spot goes live when you pay. Until we approve your name and avatar, usually within 72 hours, the wall shows your username and the default avatar.
Your listing follows your profile unless you turn that off in your settings. We check each change before it shows on the wall, and until then the wall keeps showing your last approved name and avatar.
We decline a name or avatar that breaks the community guidelines, pretends to be someone else, uses a name or image without the rights to it, or isn't suitable for younger users. The wall then shows your last approved version, or your username if there's none, or "Operator" if your username breaks the rules too.
You keep your spot and badge, and you can send a new name or avatar anytime.
Check "Don't list me" at checkout, or turn it on later in your settings. Either way, you keep your pass and your Operator badge.
Showing the Operator badge on your profile is your choice. You can hide it, or just its date, anytime in your settings. You keep your pass and your spot on the Operators' wall either way.
Includes valid passes you have and passes you bought and passed on. Keep at least one active pass to retain your badge and wall listing. Paused or ended passes do not count. The wall has four sizes, for counts of 1, 2 to 4, 5 to 9 and 10 or more. Within each size, the earliest delivery of a pass that still counts comes first: your original delivery for purchases, or your receipt date for passes from someone else. The bonus is the same for everyone.
It's a channel in Fluxer Labs where Operators talk about self-hosting, bots, the API and running an instance. Hampus, who created Fluxer, joins in when he can, and beginners are welcome. It's part of the bonus.
Yes. If you want to share setup details like your domain, config or logs, you can start a private thread in #operators and add the people you want to see them. Remove any passwords, tokens and keys first, and any personal data of your instance's users, such as their IP addresses and emails. Other people in #operators can't see the thread. The Fluxer Labs moderators can see it, and authorized Fluxer staff can review it in the cases our privacy policy describes.
It lasts for life, which means for as long as we run the official Fluxer service and website. You pay once, and nothing renews. If Fluxer Platform AB or the official Fluxer service is sold or transferred to someone else, the new owner must take over every existing pass on the same terms. If we decide to close the service and website, we'll let you know by email at least 30 days before they close. The bonus isn't part of the price and can change or end.
Yes. Each purchase can include up to 25 passes, and you can make as many purchases as you like. If you buy more passes later, each one costs whatever the price of a pass is on the day you buy it.
Once sales open, check "I'm buying for a business" at checkout to add your company name, address and VAT ID. Your invoice then shows your VAT ID. Reverse charge applies where the law requires it.
Each purchase can include up to 25 passes, and you can make another purchase whenever you need more. Each pass can go once to a staff member on your friends list, and it then stays on their account.
A business purchase has no right of withdrawal under section 7 of the Operator Pass terms. In Brazil, section 12 still lets you withdraw within 7 days of the payment, even when you buy for your business.
Yes. If you bought passes for your business, email us from your account's email address with your company name and a square logo, and we'll show them instead of a name and avatar. Companies have their own part of the wall after the people who bought passes. Every company listing is the same size, and logos never link anywhere. We check each logo before it shows. The rules, including how to switch back, are in section 2.2 of the Operator Pass terms.
Yes. You can give each pass you buy to a friend's Fluxer account one time. It goes directly to their account, with no code or link. They accept or decline, and you can take the offer back until they accept. A pass can move 72 hours after payment, or 7 days in Brazil. Once it has moved, it stays on the new account and can't be passed on again.
We ask you to confirm first. Your badge and wall listing then go away, and the move is final.
Your pass is delivered moments after your payment goes through and we've emailed you the confirmation. At checkout you ask for that and accept losing your right to withdraw under section 7 of the Operator Pass terms.
If you bought as a consumer and a technical problem delays delivery, you can still withdraw from your settings until the pass arrives. In Brazil, you can also cancel within 7 days from your settings and get a full refund.
You still get a refund when the law gives you one, such as for a wrong or double charge.
You get the same say as everyone else in what we build. Anyone can post ideas on Fluxer Feedback, and a pass doesn't give your posts more weight. When we invite Operators to try a feature before it's released, they can discuss it with us in #operators to help us improve it. When we decide what to build, we weigh everyone's ideas the same way.
No. Operators are members just like everyone else. The role gives you no say over other members and no special treatment from moderators, and the same rules apply to everyone in Fluxer Labs.
When an Operator asks for a feature or a change on Fluxer Feedback, we weigh it the same way as a request from anyone else. We don't build something just because an Operator asked for it.
Your badge is a thank-you for backing Fluxer, and that's all it means. If someone uses it to talk down to others or act above them, our moderators may step in, the same as they would with anyone else.
Plutonium is a subscription with perks on the official service. The pass doesn't add any Plutonium perks. Visionary includes an Operator Pass. We'll email every Visionary about turning on its perks.
Both help pay for running and building Fluxer. A donation is a gift that comes with nothing in return. The pass is a purchase that comes with the Operator badge and your name on the Operators' wall.
Email Hampus at hampus@fluxer.com, and he'll reply when he can.
