How do I reinstall Fluxer on Windows?

If there's a second "Fluxer" entry from an older install, uninstall it too, and if an entry disappears or shows an error, go on to step 3. Leave "Fluxer Canary" installed unless you're reinstalling Canary.
3. Press Win+R, type %LocalAppData%, press Enter and delete fluxer_desktop if it's still there. If you first installed Fluxer in early 2026, delete fluxer_app too.
4. Press Win+R, type %AppData%, press Enter and delete the fluxer folder.
5. Download the installer from the download page and run it.

A reinstall turns on "Launch Fluxer at login", so Fluxer opens when you sign in to Windows. If you don't want that, you can turn it off in "Windows app" settings.

For Canary, delete fluxer_desktop_canary in %LocalAppData% and fluxercanary in %AppData%, and fluxer_app if you installed Canary in early 2026.

If Windows says a file is in use, end every "Fluxer" process in Task Manager and try again. If that doesn't help, restart your PC and delete the folder before you open Fluxer.

If an old "Fluxer" entry stays in "Installed apps" and shows an error when you click it, open Command Prompt and run this command to remove the entry.
