You can request an export of your account data. The export includes every message you have sent, along with URLs for downloading your attachments.
How to request an export
- Sign in at fluxer.com/login.
- Open "User settings" (the cogwheel at the bottom left).
- Go to "Privacy".
- Open the "Data export" section.
- Click "Export my data".
- Choose "Everything" for a full export or "Custom selection" to pick what's in it.
- Review your selection and click "Request export".
What is included
Section 8 of our privacy policy lists what a data export contains. Messages are grouped by channel, and file attachments are not bundled in the archive.
Report snapshots and other internal records are left out. Section 10 of our privacy policy explains how to ask for any personal data the export doesn't include.
Receiving your export
When your export is ready, you will receive an email with a download link to a ZIP file. The link expires with the export file, after the period in section 7.4 of our privacy policy.
Anyone with the link can download the export until it expires. Don't forward the email, paste the link in chat or share it in a tool that may log URLs. If a link has been exposed, you can't turn it off, and requesting a new export doesn't stop it either.
Keep the ZIP on an encrypted drive or password manager, and delete it after use.
Before you delete anything
Download anything you want to keep before you delete messages or delete your account. Attachments also expire on their own. See how attachment expiry works.
