Buying the Operator Pass

How the Operator certificate works, buying passes for someone else or your business, passing a pass on and refunds.

Last updated on November 1, 2026

You buy the Operator Pass on the web, and you pay once with nothing to renew. Each purchase can include up to 25 passes, and you get your Operator certificate within moments of paying. I explain why I sell the pass and why it costs what it does in Why does Fluxer sell the Operator Pass?, and the terms say exactly how it works.

What is the Operator certificate?

Your Operator certificate is a PDF with one page for each pass you buy. Each page has its own certificate number, the name you chose for it at checkout, the date and time you paid and Fluxer Platform AB as the issuer. We email it to you as soon as you've paid, and in your settings each page has its own link that opens it in your browser, where you can print it, save it to your device or copy the link to share it with others.

It's yours to keep, print and share, and we never change a file once we've made it. The names on your certificate are personal data, so when your account is deleted, we delete our copy of the file with the rest of your account, and the link to every page stops working. Please save your own copy of the PDF file before that happens.

Anyone with a page's link can see that page, and you can replace the link in your settings at any time. When you do, the old link stops working right away, and the new one is printed on a new copy of the page with the same number and date.

Which letters can the name on my certificate use?

You can write each name in its usual writing system, such as Latin, Arabic, Devanagari, Chinese characters, Japanese kana or Hangul. We print each name exactly as typed, with all its accents, but names can't include emoji. The rest of the certificate is in English.

Can I buy more passes later?

Each purchase can include up to 25 passes, and you can make as many purchases as you like. A pass you buy later costs whatever the price of a pass is on the day you buy it, and a pass you've already bought never costs you more when the price changes.

Can I buy an Operator Pass for someone else?

Yes. At checkout, you can put their name on their own page of the certificate. Then you can copy the link of that page in your settings and send it to them, or print it and give it to them, so they get only the page with their name and not the rest of your certificate.

If they have a Fluxer account, you can also pass that pass on to it. The pass then shows on their profile, and they get the Operator badge and everything else that comes with it.

Can I pass an Operator Pass on to someone else?

You can pass on each pass you buy to a friend's Fluxer account one time, as section 11 of the terms describes. The offer goes directly to their account, and they can accept or decline it. You can take it back until the pass moves, even after they accept. Once a pass has moved, it can't be passed on again, and your certificate doesn't change.

The wait before a pass moves gives fraud warnings time to arrive, and in Brazil it keeps the pass with you while you can still withdraw. A pass can move 72 hours after you paid.

If you have a billing address in Brazil or pay in Brazilian reais, a pass can be passed on once your 7 days to withdraw are over. That wait doesn't apply if you bought for a company and entered its Brazilian company number (CNPJ) at checkout.

What happens if I pass on my only Operator Pass?

We ask you to confirm first, because the move is final. Your badge, your wall listing and #operators leave your account with the pass. Passes you passed on to others don't count toward keeping them, because they belong to someone else now. If you have Visionary, it keeps #operators for you even without a pass of your own.

Can I buy Operator Passes for my business?

To buy as a business, choose that option at checkout and add your company name, address and VAT ID. The invoice we send you for the purchase then shows your company name and VAT ID, and reverse charge applies wherever the law requires it.

You can put your company name on the certificate, and each pass can go once to a staff member on your friends list, who then keeps it if they leave the company. Staff get the same pass as everyone else, and your business can also show its logo on the wall.

For legal reasons, a business purchase has no right to withdraw, because the law gives that right only to consumers. The exception is a purchase with a billing address in Brazil or paid in Brazilian reais. We treat that as a consumer purchase with 7 days to withdraw after delivery, as section 12 of the terms says. These 7 days don't apply if you buy for a company and enter its Brazilian company number (CNPJ) at checkout.

Can I get my money back for an Operator Pass?

For legal and accounting reasons, your right to withdraw ends once we deliver your certificate. At checkout you ask us to deliver it right away, and consumer law ends the right to withdraw on that delivery, as section 7 of the terms explains.

Why does Fluxer sell the Operator Pass? explains the accounting reason. The law always protects you if your certificate isn't delivered or has a fault.

If you have a billing address in Brazil or pay in reais, you can withdraw within 7 days of delivery, unless you bought for a company and entered its CNPJ at checkout. To withdraw in that time, use "Withdraw from contract here" next to the purchase in your settings.

Who can I ask about buying a pass?

You can email me at hampus@fluxer.com with any question before you buy. I read these emails myself alongside building Fluxer, so I'll reply when I can. For a problem with a purchase you've already made, our support team can help.
