The Operators' wall and the Operator badge are Fluxer's thank-you to the people who back it with an Operator Pass. Showing either one is up to you, and you can leave the wall, hide the badge or hide your pass count in your settings. I explain why I sell the pass in Why does Fluxer sell the Operator Pass?, and section 3 of the terms says exactly how they work.
How does the Operators' wall work?
You pick any display name or nickname and an avatar for the wall at checkout, or choose not to be listed, and you never need your legal name. Your spot goes up on the wall as soon as you pay. The wall is public, so a person on our team checks every name and avatar before it shows. Until we approve your name and avatar, usually within 72 hours, the wall shows the word "Operator" and the default avatar in your spot.
What happens on the wall when I change my name or avatar?
Your listing follows changes to your Fluxer display name and avatar unless you turn that off in your settings. We check each change before it shows on the wall, for the same reason as a new listing, and until then the wall shows your last approved name and avatar.
Why was my name declined for the Operators' wall?
We decline a name or avatar that breaks the community guidelines, pretends to be someone else, uses a name or image without the rights to it, or isn't suitable for younger users. The wall then shows your last approved version, or "Operator" if there isn't one.
Your spot keeps its size and place, and you keep your badge. We tell you why and how to appeal, and you can send us a new name or avatar whenever you like.
What if I'd rather not be on the Operators' wall?
You can check "Don't list me" at checkout or turn it on later in your settings. This doesn't affect your pass or your badge, and you can come back to the wall whenever you like.
Can I hide the Operator badge or my pass count?
Showing the badge on your profile is your choice. You can hide the badge, just its date or your pass count in your settings, and you can show them again later. You keep your pass, your spot on the wall and everything else that comes with the pass either way.
The badge shows when you got your pass, like "Operator Pass since November 2026", and if you have more than one pass, it also shows your pass count.
Does having more Operator Passes change anything?
Every Operator gets the same access and treatment on purpose, because the pass isn't meant to be a members' club. More passes only give you a larger spot on the wall and a higher count on your badge. Everything else that comes with the pass is the same for every Operator, and a higher count gives you no extra access, support or priority.
The wall has four sizes, for 1 pass, 2 to 4 passes, 5 to 9 passes and 10 or more. Within each size, the earliest Operators come first. Your count includes the passes on your account, and while you keep at least one, the passes you bought and passed on to others count too.
Can my business show its logo on the Operators' wall?
If you bought passes for your business, email us from your account's email with your company name and a square logo, and we'll show them in place of a name and avatar.
Business listings have their own rules so that a listing can't make it look like we recommend the business or work with it. Businesses have their own area of the wall after the people who bought passes, and all business listings are the same size, earliest first. Logos never link anywhere, and a listing shows only that the business bought passes.
We check each logo before it shows, just as we check every name and avatar on the wall. To change the logo or go back to a name and avatar, ask us the same way.
What is the yearly Operators list?
If you turn on "Add my name to the yearly Operators list" in your settings, the name you show on the wall goes on each yearly list we publish while you're listed on the wall. It's off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off again in the same place. Each list appears in the release notes and in the Fluxer source code, as section 3.3 of the terms describes.
