Communities

How to move a community from Discord, set up channels, roles and moderation tools, and get your Fluxer community listed in Explore.

How to move your Discord server to FluxerFluxer can copy your Discord server's channels, roles and permissions from a server template, but not its messages or members. Here's how to move.
How do I import a Discord server template into Fluxer?Make a server template on Discord and import it into Fluxer to bring over channels, roles and permissions without building your community again.
Is there a bridge between Discord and Fluxer?Community-made bridges can link a Fluxer community to a Discord server so members can move at their own pace. They aren't affiliated with Fluxer.
Can I import my Discord message history into Fluxer?Fluxer has no official way to copy messages or members from Discord. Copying a server's messages in bulk goes against Discord's terms, and your members never agreed to it.
Where can I find Fluxer bots, bridges and resources?Community-maintained lists of Fluxer bots, communities, bridges and tools. They're made by people outside Fluxer, and we don't endorse them.
Community tools: roles, onboarding, events and moderationWhich community tools this Discord alternative has today, which are planned, and what bots can do in the meantime.
Can creators get paid by fans on Fluxer? Not yet. Creator payments, where fans pay for roles, exclusive content or event tickets in a creator's community, are planned for 2027 or later.
Does Fluxer have onboarding, auto roles or reaction roles? Not built in. Bots can give roles when someone joins or reacts, and a verification level decides who can send messages in your community.
Does Fluxer have scheduled events? Not yet. Scheduled events are planned for Fluxer communities, without a date, and here's what communities use until then.
Does Fluxer have AutoMod?No. Fluxer has no built-in AutoMod or word filters, but it has verification levels, invite pausing, an explicit content filter and moderation bots.
What happens to my community if I leave or get banned?Fluxer doesn't hand a community to someone else when its owner leaves or is banned, so transfer ownership to someone you trust before you go.
Does Fluxer have category permissions?Yes. You can set permissions once on a category, and every channel in it that's synced with the category uses them.
