Why does claiming a gift on Fluxer need a captcha?

When you claim a gift, Fluxer asks for a captcha and not for a two-factor code. Your device works out a small math problem and sends us only the answer. You don't have to click through a puzzle, and no third-party captcha service is involved. On slower phones, working out the problem can take your device a little longer. Your account also needs to have an email address before you can claim a gift that someone sent you.
