fluxer.com is funded by the people who use it, through Plutonium subscriptions, Operator Pass purchases and donations, and all three are optional. Fluxer shows no ads, doesn't sell, rent or license your messages or other personal data and has no venture capital or outside investors. It's run by Fluxer Platform AB, an independent Swedish company that Hampus Kraft founded in 2025, owns and leads, and he works on Fluxer full-time.
How is Fluxer funded?
Plutonium is an optional subscription that raises your own account's limits on fluxer.com, at the prices on the Plutonium page, and it's what lets Fluxer stay independent.
The Operator Pass is an optional one-time purchase, and the Operator Pass page shows the numbered Operator certificate that you get with every pass.
Anyone can also donate to Fluxer if they want to give without buying anything.
You don't need any of these to use fluxer.com or to run your own instance.
Does Fluxer sell my data or show ads?
No. fluxer.com shows no ads and has no third-party analytics or ad tracking, and sections 3 and 4 of our privacy policy say we don't sell, rent or license your messages or any other personal data or share it with anyone for their advertising. Section 3.1 of our terms says we never use your content to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models.
What stays free on Fluxer?
An account on fluxer.com is free, and so are communities, messages, voice and video calls and screen sharing. Running your own instance is free too, with no license key.
Where does the funding from Plutonium and Visionary go?
The funding pays for running fluxer.com and for building the open source Fluxer software that anyone can use and self-host. Like every Swedish aktiebolag, Fluxer Platform AB must file an annual report with Bolagsverket, the Swedish Companies Registration Office, where anyone can order a copy. Our first one is for the period up to the end of 2026.
Visionary, our lifetime Plutonium offer for early supporters, has sold out.
