In the UK and Brazil, you can choose to unlock mature content on fluxer.com in the Fluxer app for iPhone and iPad with the age range on your Apple Account. The app uses Apple's feature called Declared Age Range and never sends us a date of birth or your exact age.
How do I start?
On iOS or iPadOS 26.2 or later, open settings in the Fluxer app and go to "Privacy dashboard". Under "Sensitive content", press "Unlock mature content", and Apple asks whether you want to share your age range with Fluxer. The button only shows in the app when you're signed in to fluxer.com and you're in the UK or Brazil.
Before you press it, you can check the age range Apple has for you in Settings, under your name, "Personal Information" and "Age Range for Apps".
If the range says you're 18 or older, the app sends that result to us once, signed with a one-time App Attest key so we can confirm it came from our app on a real Apple device. Communities and channels marked 18+ then become available on your account in the UK and Brazil, and your date of birth needs to say you're 18 or older too.
If the range says you're under 18, the app sends us nothing, nothing on your account changes and the app keeps 18+ content off on that iPhone or iPad. If you decline, the app sends us nothing and nothing on your account changes.
Does the app ever ask on its own?
Where Apple says the law requires apps to ask for an age range, the app may ask Apple when you open it. That result stays on your device and is never sent to Fluxer. Apple's page about sharing your age range with apps explains when it asks.
Why is mature content still off on my iPhone?
Communities and channels marked 18+ stay off in the Fluxer app for iPhone and iPad until you turn on "Allow 18+ content on iPhone and iPad". You can turn it on under "Sensitive content" in "Privacy" in the web app or the desktop app, but not in the app for iPhone and iPad. Our article on blurred images explains what else the setting changes.
In the UK and Brazil, mature content on fluxer.com also has to be unlocked for your account first, which you can do in the Fluxer app for iPhone or iPad.
How do I change what Apple shares?
Open Settings, tap your name, then "Personal Information" and "Age Range for Apps". There you can choose whether apps must ask first, and Apple's page about sharing your age range with apps explains what else you can change. What you change there doesn't change a result Fluxer already has, and you can remove it in Fluxer at any time.
