Yes. Threads, forum channels and media channels are in early beta for everyone on web, desktop, iOS and Android. If something breaks, please report it on Fluxer Feedback.

Does Fluxer have threads and forums?

Yes. You can start a thread from a message in a text or announcement channel, and text channels can also have private threads that only invited people and moderators can see. In a forum channel, each topic is a post with its own tags, and media channels work the same way for posts built around images and videos, such as art or clips.

A thread closes after a set time without activity, which can be 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days or 1 week, and the default is 3 days. If you started Fluxer with only a name, you need to add and confirm an email address before you can join a thread in any community.

Forum channels in a Discord server template come over with their tags when you import the template, and threads and messages don't come with a template.

Will forums be readable on the web?

Not yet. Today, every forum channel is only visible in the apps. Public forums are planned, and you'll be able to try an experimental draft before the end of 2026 (Roadmap 2026, item 5). Anyone will be able to read the posts in a public forum without an account, find them in search engines, save them in archives and follow them with RSS or Atom feeds.

A community will choose whether a forum channel is public when creating it, and a private forum channel will always stay private. Everyone who posts in a public forum will be able to see that it's public before they write anything. Fluxer will never publish messages from DMs, group DMs or regular chat channels on the web, and search engines can't find them.

When public forums are ready to try, we'll say so in our patch notes, and you can tell us what you need from them or vote for ideas on Fluxer Feedback.

Can I see all threads in a community?

Each channel has a thread browser with its active and closed threads, and you can search it. Threads you join show under their channel in the channel list, and the app doesn't have a single list of every thread across all the channels in a community.
