Fluxer's own websites are on the domains listed in our security policy, such as fluxer.com, fluxer.app, fluxer.gg and fluxerusercontent.com, and on their subdomains. Our status page at fluxerstatus.com is ours too. A site on any other domain is run by someone else, even when it uses the Fluxer name or logo or looks like our site.
Is this Fluxer site real?
Look at the domain in your browser's address bar and compare it with the list in our security policy. If the domain isn't on that list and isn't fluxerstatus.com, the site isn't ours.
Fluxer's policies are only the pages on fluxer.com and fluxer.app, and a copy of them on another site doesn't make that site Fluxer. Our team's email addresses end in @fluxer.com, and our company information page lists them with what each one is for.
Is fluxerstatus.com official?
Yes. fluxerstatus.com is Fluxer's status page, and it's linked at the bottom of this site. Other status pages that show Fluxer, such as status.fluxer.host, aren't run by Fluxer.
Which sites use the Fluxer name but aren't Fluxer?
Some sites made by people in the community list communities and bots or offer to host a Fluxer instance for you, for example fluxerservers.com, fluxerlist.com and fluxer.host. They aren't run by Fluxer and aren't affiliated with Fluxer Platform AB. Their sign-in pages, rules and checks are their own, and Fluxer's terms and privacy policy don't apply to them.
Fluxer is open source, so anyone can run their own instance of it. Instances we don't run have their own operators and rules, and we have no part in running them.
Where should I type my Fluxer password?
Type your fluxer.com password only in the Fluxer apps or on fluxer.app, fluxer.com or an address that ends in .fluxer.app or .fluxer.com. If you use a self-hosted instance, type that account's password only in the Fluxer apps or on the instance's own domain.
A site that lets you sign in with Fluxer sends you to Fluxer to approve it, and it gets only the access you approve, never your password. You can take that access away at any time with "Revoke access" under "Authorized apps" in "User settings".
Is fluxerusercontent.com safe?
fluxerusercontent.com is our domain for files that people upload, and it's on the list in our security policy. The files on it come from people on Fluxer and aren't scanned with antivirus software, so only open files from people you know and trust.
A browser or security product can flag fluxerusercontent.com by mistake, as one did on October 12, 2026 in a false positive that has since been fixed. A warning can also be about a single file that someone uploaded. Don't open a flagged file you didn't expect, even from someone you know, and report the message that it came in.
