Paying for Plutonium: prices, methods and refunds

Plutonium has local prices in some currencies and renews until you cancel. You can refund a recent purchase yourself, and consumers in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Brazil can also withdraw.

Last updated on November 1, 2026

Plutonium is the optional subscription on fluxer.com, and the core app is free without it. It renews until you cancel it, and section 4 of our terms has the payment and refund rules.

Which currencies and payment methods does Fluxer accept?

Plutonium has local prices in some currencies, and the currency you pay in depends on your country. The Plutonium page shows the current prices in each currency.

On the web you pay through Stripe, our payment provider, and checkout shows the payment methods available to you. In Brazil a subscription is paid in Brazilian reais with Pix, and EBANX, Stripe's Pix partner, shows as the recipient on your bank statement. In India you can pay a subscription in Indian rupees with UPI or by card.

In the Android app you buy Plutonium through Google Play, which bills you under its own terms. The iOS app will offer Plutonium through the App Store once it's released. In both stores, Plutonium costs more than on the web because of the stores' fees.

Does Fluxer accept cryptocurrency?

No, Fluxer doesn't accept cryptocurrency.

How do I cancel Plutonium?

Click "Cancel subscription" on the Plutonium page in "User settings", or cancel in your Google Play account if you bought Plutonium in the Android app. You keep Plutonium until the end of the period you've already paid for. Here's more about canceling Plutonium.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. You can refund a recent Plutonium purchase yourself from the Plutonium page in "User settings" within the time limit in section 4.2 of our terms, and consumers in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Brazil can also withdraw from a Plutonium purchase made on the web or in the desktop app. For anything else, write to us, and a person on our team will handle it.

Can I pay for one month without it renewing?

Yes, you can subscribe to the monthly plan and click "Cancel subscription" right away. You keep Plutonium until the month you paid for ends, and you aren't charged again. A gift of Plutonium never renews, and redeeming it doesn't need a card on your account.

I bought Plutonium in the Android app. How do I cancel or get a refund?

Google bills Plutonium you buy in the Android app, so you cancel it in your Google Play account. For a refund, you can use the self-service refund on the Plutonium page within the time section 4.2 gives, or ask Google for one. Once the iOS app is on the App Store, you'll cancel those purchases in your Apple account and ask Apple for refunds.

Can I support Fluxer without a subscription?

Yes. The Operator Pass is a one-time purchase that supports Fluxer and comes with a numbered certificate and the Operator badge, and you can also donate.

Should I dispute a charge with my bank?

You can always dispute a charge with your bank, and Plutonium keeps working while the dispute is open. A dispute about a wrong, repeated or unauthorized charge never leads to enforcement against your account. While a dispute is open, you may not be able to make new purchases related to it, and we may ask you for information about the charge.

Only a fraudulent or bad-faith dispute can lead to enforcement, and only when every condition in section 4.4 of our terms is true, for example that you or someone you allowed made the payment, we charged the right amount once and you got what you paid for. If you'd rather, write to us first through the contact page and we'll look at a refund.
